The FKI Headquarters building in Yeouido has almost reached its height (245.47m). It is now the 3rd tallest building in the island. The interior construction will start soon and it is supposed to open in July 2013. It is surely making the skyline of Yeouido more dynamic. If Parc 1 starts to rise again, it will look very different.

As the construction of subway line 9 will be completed in 2014, the station 929 will be directly connected to the COEX Mall. The station 929 will be located at the intersection of Bongeunsa-ro & Yeongdong-daero. When it's completed, it will be easier to get to the mall.
From the 6th of November, it will take only 10 minutes to get to Gangnam from Wangsimni. Currently, Bundang Line finishes at Seolleung. Three subway lines already pass Wangsimni station (Line 2, 5, Joongang) and the extension of Bundang line will make the station a transportation hub in Gangbuk Area. Also, Dongbuk LRT opening in 2017 will start from here as well (Wangsimni ~ Jegi ~ Korea University ~ Mia-samgeori ~ Nowon). Gangnam Skyline from Seonjeongneung The extension has 6 stations. 1. Seolleung - This station connects to Line 2. 2. Seonjeongneung (previously, Samneung) - This station will connect to Line 9 extension currently under construction. 3. Gangnam-gu Office - This station serves Line 7. 4. Apgujeong Rodeo - Located at the Galleria Intersection in Apgujeong. Walking distance to Boutique Street. 5. Seoul Forest - This station will be closer to Seoul Forest than the current Line 2 station. This extension will surely upgrade connectivity and convenience for the residents in the metropolitan area. Especially, it will be a lot easier to travel between Gangbuk and Gangnam, and more people will be able to visit Seoul Forest without any problem.

The space plan has been changed by the current mayor Park but it is getting closer to finishing the exterior. According to the new space plan, 11 special zones for convention / exhibition / experience will be created. On the first floor, "Information Forest" will provide general information about culture / fashion / landscape. "Design Library" will be available here too. Convention halls and design markets will be built in the second basement-level. They say, "DDPP will be a market, a factory, and a plaza, where the design industry is combined with culture.
Silently, the new headquarters building has gone up so far. Its windows will have solar panels and the building will have its own power plant. The building will be 244 meters high.
They have been using the fast-track construction method, and the core of the tower has finally come up on the ground. Soon, every three day, one floor will be finished.
Now construction workers are working on the curtain walls of the new city hall building. The new Seoul City Hall is the symbol of 'Less Carbon, Green City' and the renewable energy utilization rate of the building is up to 11.3%, which is the highest among general buildings in South Korea. The construction is expected to finish in May 2012.
